Life’s Good: LG Manual Shows How To Watch Pirated Movies

“Life’s Good” is LG’s slogan, and pirates may be thinking that way, as well. Some of LG’s latest TVs have USB ports, so users can plug in an external drive and play video from them. LG makes no attempt to hide some of the uses end users might see for these ports.

In the English language manual that comes with the TVs, LG either makes a mistake by showing file names that clearly point out their BitTorrent history, or just plain doesn’t care.

In the image above, you can see that the image includes pirated versions of The Aviator and The Incredibles, in the section explaining how to play the films directly on an LG TV.

Truly, those involved in downloading movies probably wouldn’t need such instruction, or even look at the manual, but it’s still interesting to see LG freely “advertising” the piracy connection of their TVs.
