Microsoft introduced a new Tablet PC Surface 2.0
Microsoft has introduced its version of rival Apple Ipad – 10-inch Tablet PC Surface 2.0.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, representing the Surface, said that the Tablet PC – part of the “new family” which leads the development of the company.
The device is 9.3 mm thick and weighing 680g, equipped with a fastening for easy use and the keyboard will be released in two versions – on ARM-processor with Windows RT, and with Intel’s third generation running Windows 8.
The second option would be the thickness of the tablet – 14 mm and weighing 910g. Other characteristics were not disclosed. It is expected that the new product will be available simultaneously with the release of Windows 8 – this fall.
